Comic Con 2014 TV Buzz (Part Three): ‘Once Upon a Time’ Gets Frozen, ‘Adventure Time’ Sneak Peek and More

‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 4 Prepares to Get Frozen

Hey, is Once Upon a Time getting an awesome narrator?

Probably not, but the voiceover in the season four teaser is epic as we look back at all of the hardships the Storybrooke gang have been through. “Awake, Arise or be forever…frozen,” the voice says before Elsa is revealed in all her glory. While the trailer is short on new footage, it makes up for it in attitude.

Once Upon a Time season four premieres Sunday, September 28th at 8/7c on ABC.

‘Adventure Time’ Teases “Princess Day” Episode and More

The Breakfast Princess is kind of a snob, but at least her snobbery leads Lumpy Space Princess to the darkside in the awesome Adventure Time clip Cartoon Network premiered at Comic Con. The network also dropped a clip featuring Jake’s parents paying a visit to Mrs. Treetrunks to investigate some mysterious pie disappearances. Both clips tease awesome things to come for the always enchanting series.

“Princess Day” airs this Thursday, July 31st at 7:30pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network.

‘Falling Skies’ Previews the Rest of Season Four

Falling Skies is barreling towards the end of its fourth season, and the battles are only getting bigger. However, there is a small glimmer of hope in the teaser for the back half of season four: the war might just be “winnable” and Tom is going to fly the coolest flying saucer ever. Enjoy the alien drama while you can because this season finale will be the last before the final season kicks off in Summer 2015.

Falling Skies season four airs Sundays at 10/9c on TNT.

Adult Swim’s ‘Mike Tyson Mysteries’ Trailer Gets Punchy

Ahh, there is nothing like the twisted wonders of a new Adult Swim series. The official trailer for Mike Tyson Mysteries premiered at Comic Con in all of its strange glory. Cartoon Tyson, his adopted daughter, a talking, foulmouthed pigeon and a ghost ride around solving mysteries and punching things. Oddly enough, the premise actually seems to work. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think of the odd Scooby Doo-esque style.

Mike Tyson Mysteries premieres Fall 2014 on Adult Swim.

‘Steven Universe’ Sneak Peek Reveals a Gem Fusion

Garnet and Amethyst do a gem fusion that turns them into a gigantic, super-powered wrecking ball in a clip from an upcoming Steven Universe episode, and Steven’s reaction should stand in for the rest of the audience. To put it simply: it is cool…and more than a little dangerous. However, the women do it to save TV and is there a more noble cause? Adding to the episode’s charms, Nicki Minaj will guest star.

Steven Universe returns August 21st on Cartoon Network.

Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham Contemplate Their ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Future

Bonnie and Damon disappeared into the unknown at the end The Vampire Diaries season five. But what does that mean for Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham? Well, if you believe the hilarious video released at Comic Con (and you shouldn’t) then it means the cast teamed up to have them removed. Find out what is really ahead for Bonnie and Damon when The Vampire Diaries season six premieres October 2nd on The CW.

‘Game of Thrones’ Introduces New Characters and Entertains The Realm With Bloopers

Business first: lots of Game of Thrones casting announcements came out of Comic Con (see character details here) and the new castmembers introduced themselves in a brief video. After that, the Game of Thrones panel queued up something special– a blooper real featuring the cast flubbing lines, breaking character and dancing. Yes, it is as wonderful as it sounds.

Game of Thrones season five is set to premiere in Spring 2015.

And with that our Comic Con 2014 TV Buzz palooza comes to an end. I hope you enjoyed all of the sneak peeks, special videos and trailer premieres. I will be back tomorrow with your regularly scheduled TV Buzz. Until then, share your favorite virtual Comic Con moments in the comments.
