TV Buzz: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Lurches Into Action With New Clip, ‘Outlander’ Photos Revealed and More

We have a big TV Buzz for you this Friday. If you are looking for new shows to add to your late summer and fall roster, we have you covered. Among the highlights are images from Starz’ new thriller The Missing, posters for the final season of The Killing and a clip from The Walking Dead season five. Check all that out and more below.

‘The Killing’ Season 4 Character Poster Hint At Dark Times To Come

“The Past Cannot Be Washed Away.”

The appropriately dark tagline is featured on the new The Killing character posters featuring Linden and Holder. As the series enters its fourth and final season, Linden and Holder’s past is soaked in blood– a fact they will be trying to cover up as they move on to a new case. The posters hint at a dark end for the detectives, fittingly so given The Killing‘s noir roots.

Do you think Holder and Linden will get away with their own killing and coverup?

The Killing season four will be available exclusively August 1st on Netflix.

AMC Releases ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Clip

The Walking Dead season five does not premiere until October on AMC, but the network has already unveiled a walker filled clip.

In the short scene we check in on Carol, Tyreese and Judith, who are taking shelter from a massive horde of walkers. Will they lead the walkers to Terminus or are they about to encounter some new (living) faces? If not, they have quite the fight on their hands.

Take a Closer Look at ‘Outlander’ in New Photos

Claire, Jamie and Black Jack all appear in the latest Outlander photos. Each picture takes us deeper into the time traveling drama and previews the budding relationship between Claire and Jamie. (Seriously, guys, check out the duo’s intense stare off– that can only lead to kissing, right?)

Outlander premieres August 9th on Starz.

‘Sharknado’ 2: The Second One Extended Trailer

“Holy Shark.”

There are so many puns in the Sharknado 2 trailer that I cannot be forced to pick a favorite. The New Yorkers versus flying sharks sequel appears to be more aware of its cheekiness, but no less entertaining for it. There is jumping of sharks, rousing speeches about coming back from being eaten alive and Matt Lauer. Basically, this trailer contains everything you never wanted to admit to yourself you wanted in a movie.

Sharknado 2: The Second One premieres July 30th on Syfy.
