FX Orders Comedy ‘Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll’ From Denis Leary [+Photos]

Denis Leary and FX are back in business.

Leary, who last worked with FX to bring his hit drama Rescue Me to life, is returning to the network in 2015 with the 10-episode comedy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. The series will follow Johnny Rock (Leary), a washed up rock star whose boozing, drug-fueled antics (as well as sleeping his way through his bandmates’ wives) ended his career before it even started. Now at 50, it’s do or die time if Johnny wants to leave more than one record behind as his rock legacy. His soon to be ex-manager tells him, “Johnny, you’re 50, broke and completely anonymous. In rock ‘n roll you know what that makes you? A bartender.” Those harsh words send Johnny on a quest to get the band back together.

In addition to Leary, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll will also star John Corbett, Elizabeth Gillies, Elaine Hendrix and Bobby Kelly. Are you ready to see Leary back on TV?
