On TV Tonight, Tuesday, 6/24/14: Covert Affairs, Tyrant and More

TV Equals Midseason 2014 Tuesday

Our Picks

The Wil Wheaton Project – 9pm Syfy
I have to hand it to Mr. Wheaton, his show is all kinds of entertaining. He’s covering the True Blood season seven premiere tonight. I don’t even watch that show, but I cannot wait to see what he says about it.

Covert Affairs – 10pm USA
Spy drama time! Annie and Auggie are one of TV’s most torturous/adorable couples. I miss their faces a ridiculous amount when they are not on my TV, so suffice it to say, I am happy to have them back.

Tyrant – 10pm FX
Tyrant almost feels like it came out of nowhere. I’m not seeing a lot of buzz, but FX rarely makes a misstep when it comes to their series. For that reason, I’ll tune into the pilot at least, even though the subject matter– the son of a middle eastern dictator returns home for a wedding –sounds a bit dicey.

8 PM – 9 PM

Extreme Weight Loss – 8pm ABC

Famous in 12 – 8pm The CW

Pretty Little Liars – 8pm ABC Family

9 PM – 10 PM

Celebrity Wife Swap – 10pm ABC

Chasing Life – 9pm ABC Family

Royal Pains – 9pm USA

Rizzoli & Isles – 9pm TNT

10 PM – 11 PM

The Night Shift – 10pm NBC

Perception – 10pm TNT
