TV Buzz: Epic ‘The Legend of Korra’ Book Three Trailer Revealed, ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ First Look and More

No, you are not imagining things, this week’s second TV Buzz has appeared from the wilds on a Friday. Lucky for you because if it had went up yesterday, you would not be getting three minutes worth of Defiance season two to kick your weekend off with. We also have a first look at American Horror Story: Freak Show, a preview of Sutton Foster’s new comedy and much more to share below.

Sarah Paulson Reveals First Look at her Latest ‘American Horror Story’ Character

Nothing says Friday the 13th like a first look at American Horror Story: Freak Show. Sarah Paulson tweeted a photo of her new characters, conjoined twins Bette and Dot. Are you intrigued by the prospect of seeing double of the always terrific Paulson?

AHS: Freak Show will premiere Fall 2014 on FX.

‘Intruders’ Teaser Breaks Out the Creepy Kid Trope

Seriously, BBC America? Are you trying to permanently traumatize all of us? The latest Intruders teaser is more straightforward than the previous ones. Whatever this town has let in has taken over a little girl and turned her into a Bad Seed style murderer. There is still no word on when the series will debut, but I am so ready to watch this show…with all the lights on.

‘The Legend of Korra Book Three: Change’ Gets Gorgeous Full-Length Trailer

You know that old saying, actions speak louder than words? Well, it is proven to be 100% accurate in the new The Legend of Korra trailer. Book Three: Change is full of dragons, epic fights, steampunk flourishes and stunning animation. With Game of Thrones signing off for the year soon, I do not think it would be a stretch to say this series might tide people over until they can return to Westeros.

Nickelodeon has yet to set a premiere date, but fear not, we will keep you updated.

MTV Unveils Moving ‘Finding Carter’ Trailer

MTV is reinventing the Face on the Milk Carton concept with Finding Carter, a series about a teenage girl whose life is completely upended when it is discovered she was kidnapped as a baby. The full-length trailer gives a better look at Carter, while fleshing out her birth parents played by genre favorites Alexis Denisof (Angel) and Cynthia Watros (Lost). This show made my must list for summer and I predict after watching the trailer it will land on your list too.

Finding Carter premieres Tuesday, July 8th at 10/9c on MTV.

‘Under the Dome’ Season 2 Trailer: “What’s Outside Comes Inside”

I hope Big Jim is happy. His shenanigans have clearly angered the Dome. The season two trailer of the show we all wish we were not addicted to, Under the Dome, reveals the town is crumbling. There are also new characters who were hiding out instead of participating in last season’s various riots, fight clubs and lynchings. The most pressing question remains: which two characters will bite the dust in the premiere? I’m going with Lady Cop and Junior. Share your guesses in the comments.

Under the Dome season two premieres Monday, June 30th at 10/9c on CBS.

TV Land Brings Sutton Foster Back to Our TVs in ‘Younger’

Is the appropriate reaction to seeing TV Land’s Younger teaser, “Sutton Foster, I missed your face!”? I have no idea, but that was my reaction. The series comes from the creator of Sex and the City and stars Foster as a woman in her ’40s posing as a 26-year-old. The teaser does not explain why she is lying about her age– it has something to do with getting a job –but the important part is Sutton Foster will be back on our TVs. I cannot emphasize that enough.

Younger is coming soon to TV Land.

‘Defiance’ Season 2 Sneak Peek

Syfy has released three minutes of the Defiance season two premiere and for a newbie like myself it is all kinds of confusing. It’s not normal to bathe alone? Everyone wears overly complicated belts? Aliens look like Leprechauns and wear eyeballs in their beards? I’m sure Defiance fans will love it though. Watch the preview now and then catch the whole episode Thursday, June 19th at 8/7c on Syfy.

Were you as impressed by the Legend of Korra trailer as I was? Are you planning on going Under the Dome again this summer? Share your thoughts on those trailers and more in the comments.
