‘Drunk History’ and ‘Nathan For You’ Season 2 Premiere Dates Announced by Comedy Central

Comedy Central is rolling out second seasons of Drunk History and Nathan For You this summer. Both series are set to premiere Tuesday, July 1st with Drunk History up first at 10pm ET/PT followed by Nathan For You at 10:30pm ET/PT.

Drunk History features comedians explaining historical events while intoxicated. Topics set to be covered in season two include the story of Claudette Colvin, the Joe Louis (Terry Crews) v. Max Schmeling (Tim Heidecker) fights of the late 1930s (featuring ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic as Hitler), the election of 1800, the Baltimore plot to assassinate Lincoln, Edgar Allan Poe’s rivalry with Rufus Griswold, the midnight ride of Sybil Ludington, the origins of “Rapper’s Delight,” and the history of chemist Percy Julian (Jordan Peele). Among the extensive guest list of A-List celebrities who will guest as reenactors in our drunken narrators’ yarns are Jack Black, Courteney Cox, David Cross, Charlie Day, Laura Dern, Emily Deschanel, Zach Gilford, Tony Hale, Johnny Knoxville, Nick Kroll, John Lithgow, Ken Marino, Jayma Mays, Jack McBrayer, Stephen Merchant, Jason Momoa, Bobby Moynihan, Jerry O’Connell, Patton Oswalt, Adrianne Palicki, Chris Parnell, Busy Philipps, Retta, Jason Ritter, Jeffrey Ross, Winona Ryder, Alia Shawkat, Martin Starr, Juno Temple, Jaleel White, Casey Wilson and Steven Yeun.

Nathan For You features Nathan Fielder’s often outrageous attempts to help small businesses flourish using unusual tactics. This season he will help a pet shop gain business by advertising on a headstone in a pet cemetery, open a Dumb Starbucks and more. Check out a trailer for season two below.
