‘Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal Lands on Netflix Original ‘Narcos’

The Viper will strike again…just not on Game of Thrones.

Pedro Pascal earned a legion of fans for his charismatic portrayal of Oberyn Martell on season four of Game of Thrones. Now that Pascal’s tenure on the HBO series has come to an end, he will be taking his talents to Netflix’s Narcos, according to Deadline. Based on a true story, Narcos explores the growth of cocaine cartels across the globe and the efforts of law enforcement agencies to stop them.

Pascal will star as Mexican DEA agent Javier Pena, a man sent to bring down the Columbian kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagnar Moura). Narcos is set for a 2015 debut on Netflix.
