‘Men At Work’ Cancelled By TBS

Men at Work (TBS) Heterotextual Male Episode 4

TBS has opted out of a fourth season with Men At Work, Deadline reports. The network has cancelled the comedy series just prior to the upfronts. The cancellation is presumably due to the show’s poor ratings.

‘Men At Work’ starred ‘That 70’s Show’s Danny Masterson, Smallville’s Michael Cassidy, ‘My Music’s Adam Busch and ‘Las Vegas’ James Lesure as four friends who are all employed at a magazine together. The friends help one another navigate both their personal and professional lives. Meredith Hagner also starred. The series comes from creator Breckin Meyer (Road Trip, Rat Race).

TBS has decided to stick with Courtney Cox’s ‘Cougar Town’ for a sixth and final season. The network has also picked up several new series; ‘Angie Tribeca’ from ‘The Office’ star Steve Carell, ‘Buzzy’s from David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, and the comedy ‘Your Family Or Mine’ from Greg Malins and the ‘Men at Work’ producers of Sony TV and Fanfare.

Meanwhile, Meyer will pop up once again in the TNT legal comedy ‘Franklin & Bash’, as the series is due to make its fourth season debut this summer. Tell us what you think? Did ‘Men at Work’ deserve to get the axe just yet? Leave your comments below.
