‘Witches of East End’ Season 2 Premiere Date Announced by Lifetime

Witches of East End Season Finale Episode 10 Oh, What a World! 07

The second season of Witches of East End will bow on the Lifetime network on July 6 at 9/8c, TV Line has confirmed. The network made the announcement this past Wednesday. The second season will presumably pick up following the aftermath of Asgard’s open portal, the poisoning of Joanna and the death of Penelope. There is also the return of Killian and Dash’s warlock powers to contend with. The new season will also feature the arrival of a new character, played by actor Christian Cook (Magic City), who will bring darkness to East End. Cook joins the 13-episode season as a series regular.

The announcement of ‘Witches of East End’s second season pick-up came in November after the show’s successful first year that attracted an average of 3 million viewers. The series stars Julia Ormond (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) as the family matriarch, a witch who has kept her daughters – Jenna Dewan Tatum (Step Up), Rachel Boston (500 Days of Summer) – in the dark about their secret powers. Madchen Amick (Drop Dead Diva, Mad Men), Eric Winter (Days of Our Lives) and Daniel DiTomasso (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) also star.
