‘Vice’ Seasons 3 and 4 Announced by HBO

HBO has renewed their news/documentary program Vice for a third and fourth season, which guarantees the series will air at least through 2016. Season three is set to consist of 14 episodes and air in 2015. Vice is hosted by Shane Smith and takes a close look at topics usually only briefly touched on in mainstream news programs.

“We would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to HBO for letting us do what we love for another two seasons, and for providing the best platform in television where the stories we work so hard on can live,” said Smith in a statement. “VICE on HBO has transformed our brand. It has forced us to get better, to try harder and now, with two new seasons, we will keep striving to be better still. We promise to report on the underreported, to tell the forgotten stories and to remain committed to uncovering the truth about our planet in peril. Here we come.”

Vice season two is currently aiing Fridays at 11PM on HBO
