On TV Tonight, Monday, 05/05/14: 24: Live Another Day, Bates Motel and More

TV Equals Midseason 2014 Monday

Our Picks

24: Live Another Day – 8pm Fox
24: Live Another Day is ushering Fox into the new age of the limited series with a familiar face. Like an American James Bond with all of the lethalness and none of the suave (Jack isn’t big on the charm), Jack is storming London to save yet another American President from an assassination attempt. In my opinion, the best reason to watch the two-hour event is to see Yvonne Strahovski in action again post-Chuck and Dexter. (Sorry, Jack.)

Louie – 10pm FX
Also making a return to television tonight is critical favorite Louie. I have mixed feelings on the show, but those who love it, really, really love it. If you are a Louie aficionado don’t miss the back-to-back episodes. There has been quite the Louie drought, after all.

Bates Motel – 10pm A&E
This season has been so insanely good. I have no idea how this will all wrap up, but I do know Norman’s state of mind is crumbling. Let us all tune in and freak out together.
