“There’s instant magic when our cast, writers and crew get together for each episode,” said Jones. “We’re so excited to be reaching these milestones and can’t wait to see what lies ahead in Cleveland.”

The network picked up 24 episodes which will put the series well over the 100 episode mark. ‘Hot in Cleveland’s cast, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White made their own announcement, celebrating the big news on the show’s Facebook page with a collection of selfies.

‘Hot in Cleveland’ chronicles three best friends from Los Angeles played by Bertinelli, Leeves and Malick, who find their lives changed for the better when their plane, headed for Paris, makes an emergency landing in Cleveland. Enjoying the lives in Cleveland better, the trio decide to stay and become roomates. Together they share their lives with their caretaker, Elka Ostrovsky, played by Betty White.

The series comes from Hazy Mills Prods. and creator Suzanne Martin, who also serves as executive producer along with Sean Hayes & Todd Milliner as well as Lynda Obst.
