‘Heroes Reborn: Digital Series’ Announced by NBC

NBC is eager to get their Heroes reboot off the ground.

The network announced Heroes Reborn: Digital Series will premiere online as part of a larger roll out of online programming. From series creator Tim Kring’s production company, the digital series will act as a prequel to the upcoming 13-part event series and will be available across multiple online platforms. No casting news or premiere date have been announced yet. NBC is aiming for the digital series to bring in new fans while also satisfying fans of the original series.

Other NBC online series premiering this year include Tesla and Twain, about the inventor and author if they lived in modern day Los Angeles, and Last Single Girl, the story on an over-educated and underemployed woman surrounded by friends who are married.

Are you excited to hear there is even more Heroes in your future or are you still puzzled as to why NBC decided to return to the series in the first place?
