‘Defiance’ Season 2 and ‘Dominion’ Series Premiere Date Announced by Syfy

Syfy has announced the second season premiere of Defiance. The network plans to roll out an all new round of episodes of the sci-fi drama on June 19 at 8 p.m. followed by the premiere of the new series Dominion at 9 p.m.

In season 2 ‘Defiance’ will kick off with townspeople under the control of the Earth Republic. A new Mayor, Nolan (Grant Bowler), is set to take control. Meanwhile, the Tarr family will fight desperately to keep control of their criminal empire. This season fans will see the introduction of actors James Murray, Niles Pottinger, Anna Hopkins and William Atherton.

Syfy will then air the 90-minute series premiere of ‘Dominion’. The freshman series is described as a supernatural action series based on the 2010 film ‘Legion’. The storyline will take place 25 years after the events of the movie, focusing in on the aftermath of a catastrophic war between an army of angels and humans. The series follows the “perilous journey of a rebellious young soldier, set against a backdrop of the ultimate celestial battle as it touches down on earth.”

‘Dominion’s cast includes Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Stewart Head and Luke Allen-Gale. Will you be tuning in to the return of ‘Defiance’ followed by the new series ‘Dominion’?
