‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Actors Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles to Depart

Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Episode 5 I Bet It Stung (3)

Recent Grey’s Anatomy cast members Tessa Ferrer (from the independent film ‘Go for Sisters’) and Gaius Charles (formerly from ‘Friday Night Lights’ and ‘Necessary Roughness’) will be leaving the show because their contracts are not getting picked up for next season. [Sucks to be them, huh?!]

Ferrer and Charles joined the show as recurring characters last season playing second-year resident Dr. Leah Murphy and resident Dr. Shane Ross respectively and then they – along with actresses Camilla Luddington and Jerikka Hinton – became series regulars for the show’s current 10th season.

There is no word, according to Deadline, if the duo will make guest appearances in the future, though.

Ferrer and Charles aren’t the only cast members leaving the show, as long-running series regular Sandra Oh will be exiting the series as of this season.

The next new episode of the 10th season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ will air on ABC tonight, March 27 at 9/8c.
