Fan Favorite Actor Daniel Sharman Not Returning to ‘Teen Wolf’

Over the course of the last two episodes of the third season of Teen Wolf, fans have seen the loss of both Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) and werewolf twin Aiden (Max Carver) and now they are going to have to deal with another loss albeit one that is under better circumstances. Fan favorite actor Daniel Sharman, who has played werewolf Isaac Lahey since the first episode of the show’s second season, will not be returning to the show for its upcoming fourth season.

According to a report at E! Online, executive producer Jeff Davis shared that “Isaac is not returning next season. (He) came to us, much like Crystal did, and said he wanted to go out for pilot season and for movies and try something new; (but) he specifically asked that we not kill off Isaac so that he could have the chance to return”.

The plan to explain Isaac not being in Beacon Hills any longer is that he headed off to France with Allison’s father (JR Bourne), who will “sort of take a sabbatical (there) to deal with the death of his daughter”, states Davis. At this point in time, though, it is unknown if Daniel will be back for the fourth season or beyond, but Davis said “I would say there’s a good possibility of (him returning)”.

The ‘Teen Wolf’ season finale just aired this past Monday, March 24 and the fourth season will be back on MTV on June 23.
