‘White Collar’ Season 6 Announced

White Collar Cast

After a spectacular fifth season cliffhanger on White collar, fans were not only concerned about the fate of Neal Caffrey (series lead Matt Bomer) who was kidnapped by a mystery man, but also worried about the fate of the long-running show as the network had yet to announce if it was going to be renewed or not. Thankfully, good news was announced late last week that the series will be back for a sixth season, but there will only be six episodes. That fact alone will make fans wonder if this new season will be the show’s final season, but that has yet to be revealed by the network.

‘White Collar’ centers of the unlikely partnership between charming con man Neal Caffrey (Bomer) and straight-forward FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay), who catch other elusive white collar criminals. The cast includes Tiffany Thiessen, Willie Garson, Sharif Atkins and Marsha Thomason.

In other USA Network news, the network has picked up two new medical dramas: Rush and Complications. Rush will center around Dr. William Rush, who is not your average on-call doctor, he is highly discreet no matter what the ailment, as long as the client can pay his cash-only premium. He has no desire to change his life or how he lives it, until an old flame and his conscience begin to stir things up. Complications will center on a disillusioned suburban ER doctor who finds his existence transformed when he intervenes in a drive-by shooting, saving a young boy’s life and killing one of his attackers. When Ellis learns the boy is still marked for death, he finds himself compelled to save him at any cost, and discovers that his own life – and his outlook on medicine – may never be the same.

Both new shows will have 10 episodes each; but no official airdates have been announced for either series. That goes for ‘White Collar’ as well, but it is possible the shows could air as early as this summer.
