‘Playing House’ Series Premiere Date Announced by USA

USA’s new comedy Playing House will premiere Tuesday, April 29th at 10PM following Modern Family (which USA bought the syndication rights to in 2013). Playing House is executive produced by and stars Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham, who previously collaborated on the NBC sitcom Best Friends Forever.

The comedy will focus on best friends Maggie Caruso and Emma Crawford. When Maggie discovers her husband is having an affair, Emma gives up a job opportunity in China to move back to their hometown and help Maggie raise the baby. Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele), Jane Kaczmarek (Malcom in the Middle), Brad Morris (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World), Zach Woods (The Office) and Gerry Bednob (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) also star.
