‘Broad City’ Season 2 Announced by Comedy Central

Comedy Central is extending its stay in Broad City.

The network announced the comedy about two girls trying to make it in New York has been picked up for a second 10-episode season. The news comes as Broad City is in the midst of its first season and on track to become Comedy Central’s highest rated debut season since 2012 in all of the key demos.

“I didn’t realize ‘Broad City’ was so good until I read all the incredible reviews,” said Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, Comedy Central. “Now I’m really excited about it.”

Broad City was created by stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer. New episodes air Wednesdays at 10:30pm on Comedy Central.
