‘Sofia the First’ Season Two Premiere Date Announced

The sophomore season of Sofia the First will begin on Disney, March 7 at 9:30 am est. The debut episode, entitled ‘Two Princesses and a Baby’, will see Amber ask royal sorcerer Cedric for help with a magic spell that will give her and her twin James separate birthdays. When the spell goes wrong and James is turned into a baby, Sofia helps Amber see that having a twin isn’t bad after all. The episode will feature Amber singing the song ‘Sisters and Brothers’ with Amber singing ‘Two By Two’.

The new season will also include the famous voices of Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother), Ginnifer Goodwin (Big Love), Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory), Anna Camp (the Help), John Michael Higgins (Yes Man), Isla Fisher (Home and Away), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Robert Morse (All My Children), Christian Borle (Smash), Oliver Platt (X-Men: First Class), Tracey Ullman (State of the Union) and Phylicia Rashad (The Cosbys). Disney Princesses Mulan (Ming-Na Wen), Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) and Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) will also be part of the second season.

Disney has also announced a special episode of ‘Sofia the First’ featuring Snow White. The episode will air on April 4 at 9 am est and on Disney Junior at 6 pm est.
