Michael J. Fox To Return To ‘The Good Wife’

The Dream Team

Michael J. Fox is already moving on following the cancellation of his show, ‘The Michael J. Fox Show’, due to low ratings. According to TV Line, the actor has inked a deal with showrunners to return to CBS’s The Good Wife. Fox will reprise his role as Alicia’s (Julianna Margulies) legal nemesis, attorney Louis Canning, in the series. The new deal will see Fox set to appear in a multi-episode arc.

A heads up regarding Fox’s possible reprisal came in January during the Television Critics Association winter press tour. ‘The Good Wife’ co-creator Robert King tipped off fans of the series. “We’re trying to make that work,” he said in regards to Fox’s return to the CBS hit show. “Because he finished filming [The Michael J. Fox Show], so it looks like we’re going to get a chance to get him back.”

Fox last appeared on the show in 2013. Details behind his upcoming guest stint was not revealed. ‘The Good Wife’ is currently on a winter hiatus but will be back in the midst of its fifth season on Sunday, March 9. Will you be tuning in to see Fox make his return? Leave us your comments below.
