Benjamin Bratt Joins FOX’s ’24: Live Another Day’

Benjamin Bratt (7)

The highly anticipated event series 24: Live Another Day will debut its special two-hour premiere on May 5 on FOX; and now another well-known actor will be joining its ranks.

Actor Benjamin Bratt, best known for his role on the long-running series ‘Law & Order’, will play an important role in the sequel-of-sorts to the popular drama that ran on FOX from 2001 to 2010. Bratt will play Steve Harris, the head of CIA operations tracking Jack Bauer (series lead Kiefer Sutherland), who is now an exile and a fugitive from justice.

As we reported here and here, actor William Devane and actresses Kim Raver and Mary Lynn Rajskub will return to the series reprising their roles of James Heller, Audrey Raines and Chloe O’Brian respectively.

’24: Live Another Day’ will retain the real-time, nail-biting, fast-paced format with split screens and interweaving storylines

Among Bratt’s other credits are the lead role in the short-lived series ‘The Cleaner’, as well as ‘Private Practice’ and ‘Modern Family’. He also appeared in the box office films ‘The River Wild’, ‘Traffic’, ‘Clear and Present Danger’ and ‘Miss Congeniality’.

The two-hour series premiere of ’24: Live Another Day’ will air on FOX on May 5 at 8/7c and then will move to its regular timeslot of 9/8c on May 12.
