‘Liv and Maddie’ Season 2 Announced by Disney

The freshman Disney series Liv and Maddie has been renewed by the network for a second season. Adam Bonnett, the executive vice president of original programming at Disney, made the official announcement. “Liv and Maddie has quickly become a Disney Channel fan favorite and our viewers have connected with Dove Cameron in her dual role, as well as the rest of the Rooney family. Season two will continue to make families laugh with relatable and engaging stories.”

Production on ‘Liv and Maddie’ will kick off this March in Los Angeles with season two set to bow in the fall. Since making its debut on Disney, the series has become TV’s #1 telecast in its time slot in 2013. The show was also the #2 series among kids 2-11, the #3 TV series among kids 6-11, and pre-teens 9-14.

‘Liv and Maddie’, follows the 16-year old identical twin sisters’ and their high school adventures, as well as their life at home. The series comes from creators and executive producers John Beck and Ron Hart, both of ‘According to Jim’ fame. Andy Fickman (The Game Plan), Betsy Sullenger (You Again) and John Peaslee (Dog With A Blog) also serve as executive producers. Will you be tuning in to the new season? Leave us your comments below.
