On TV Tonight, Thursday, 01/09/14: Parks and Recreation, The Crazy Ones and More

TV Equals Schedules Fall 2013 Thursday

Our Picks

Parks and Recreation – 8:30pm NBC
It’s hard to believe, but Parks and Recreation has defied the odds and made it to 100 episodes. Tonight’s milestone outing promises to shake things up and remind us why Pawnee is such a wonderful place to visit.

Parenthood – 10pm NBC
As distressing as this whole Joel and Julia situation is, I can’t look away. And don’t get me started on Amber and Ryan. Or Zeek and Camille. Oh man, or Hank. With a title like “Stay a Little Longer,” I’m expecting this episode to be a five hankie event.

The Spoils of Babylon – 10pm IFC
Remember those grand, sweeping miniseries epics popular in the 70s and 80s? Well, The Spoils of Babylon is like one of those, but funny. It is also stas an absurd number of cool actors including Kristen Wiig and Tobey Maguire as a pair of sort of incestuous siblings.
