TV Equals Schedules Fall 2013 Thursday

Our Picks

Robot and Monster – 8pm Nick Toon
You know it is a slow night when I’m recommending something called Robot and Monster (although that would be a great premise for a steampunk buddy cop show). Technically, this isn’t a new episode although it is new to Nick Toon, but I had to put it in the spotlight because tonight’s episode involves the robot and monster planting a bacon tree to feed their bacon habit. Then it becomes sentient and tries to kill all of their friends. Upon further research, I discovered 99% of this show is about bacon. For some reason it was cancelled, but if we can drum up a cult following I’m sure Netflix will revive it.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty – 8pm TCM
No, this isn’t the Ben Stiller movie. This is the 1947 original version of the film starring Danny Kaye which you can watch for free while snuggled under a warm blanket tonight. I want to see the Stiller version too, but I don’t know how the weather is where you live, but it is freezing here and I’m willing to give up cool special effects to avoid frostbite.

Ground Floor – 10pm TBS
New episode of Ground Floor! It is literally the only new episode of anything on tonight unless you are a fan of Swamp Monsters and/or Gypsy Sisters.
