TV Equals Schedules Fall 2013 Sunday

Our Picks

The Returned – 12PM-10PM Sundance Channel
Sundance is marathoning the first season of their creepy French import in its entirety today. It’s a heavy show to binge watch, but the pay off is incredible. Grab a blanket and some hot chocolate (you’ll need the comfort) and then settle in for some (sort of) French zombies and awesomeness.

Mr. Stink – 8pm PBS *Check Your Local Listings.
See the Earl of Grantham as you’ve never seen him before: as a very smelly man. PBS has imported this odd British holiday film about a young girl who befriends Hugh Bonneville and hides him in her shed. Yeah, I don’t really get it either, but Bonneville can pull pretty much anything off.

James Gandolfini: Tribute to a Friend – 8:30pm HBO
As you know, television lost one of its most important figures this year and tonight HBO is paying tribute to the man who brought Tony Soprano and so many other characters to life. The tribute will feature interviews with Gandolfini’s co-workers and friends. It is sure to be a tearjerker, but it is also a chance to say a proper goodbye to one of this generation’s best and brightest stars.

9 PM – 10 PM

Treme – 9pm HBO

I Am Britney Jean – 9pm E!

10 PM – 11 PM

Getting On – 10pm HBO

Ja’mie: Private School Girl – 10:30pm HBO
