On TV Tonight, Thursday, 12/19/13: Anger Management, White Collar and More

TV Equals Schedules Fall 2013 Thursday

Our Picks

White Collar – 9pm USA
Neal gets a guilty conscience this week which in turns means Matt Bomer gets to brood and make the entire audience swoon with his moral conflict face. On the scale of swoon worthiest Bomer faces that one comes in just below sly, puling off a heist face and smartest guy in the room face. In all seriousness though, this sounds like an episode where the Neal/Peter bromance will be front and center and those are always standouts.

Pawn Stars: A Very Vegas Christmas – 9pm History
Is it still in to like Pawn Stars? Was it ever in? I don’t care. My guilty pleasure reality show is throwing a barbeque and inviting all of their History channel neighbors over to share in the festivities. I’m going to predict The Old Man falls asleep, Chumlee catches something on fire and Corey pretends to know more than he does to impress Rick. (Fun fact: Vegas is the most visited Christmas destination in America. That should depress us all.)

Ground Floor – 10pm TBS
This sitcom is quietly becoming one of television’s most reliably funny outings. It’s not reinventing the format, but it has a nice, familiar feel that makes the equivalent of TV chicken noodle soup. Tonight Jenny convinces Harvard, Derrick and Tori that they’re rich, which, yes, has been done before, but will likely be hilarious anyway.

8 PM – 9 PM

Silent Night – 8pm PBS

The X Factor – 8pm FOX

9 PM – 10 PM

The Year – 9pm ABC
