Ground Floor (TBS): What To Expect (Cast Interviews & First Look)

What happens when two souls who live in opposite worlds fall in love and start dating?

No, this is not the latest “Romeo and Juliet” rip-off from the CW but rather the newest TBS sitcom Ground Floor, a new creation from none other than comedy genius Bill Lawrence, creator of hit series such “Scrubs” or “Cougar Town“. Here is the official synopsis to give you an idea of what the story is about.

Set in the modern world of corporate America, Ground Floor centers on Brody (Astin), a young hot-shot banker who thought he was just having a one-night stand with Jennifer (Heelan), a beautiful woman he met at an office party. He discovers, however, that she works in the maintenance department for the building where his bank– Remington Trust – is located. Suddenly their worlds begin to collide in the most unexpected ways. Facing Brody’s critical boss, Mr. Mansfield (McGinley), as well as annoyed colleagues, the pair must find a way to deal with their growing feelings for each other in this modern take on Romeo & Juliet.(Source: TBS)

TV Equals was lucky enough to go on a set visit of the new series (heck I even attended my first ever taping in front of a live audience) and chat with the cast and executive producers of the show about what we can expect.

You will find below interviews with Ground Floor cast members Skylar Astin & Briga Heelan, John C McGinley & Rene Grube, Rory Scovel, Alexis Knapp & James Earl and executive producers Bill Lawrence & Jeffrey Astrof.

Ground Floor premieres tonight, Thursday, Nov. 14, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) with special back-to-back episodes.

You can also find a clip of the show below and photos of the cast members as well.
