‘Modern Family’ Taps Jesse Eisenberg & More For Season 5 Guest Roles

ABC’s Modern Family has cast a trio of stars for the eleventh episode of the drama’s fifth season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jesse Eisenberg (Now You See Me), Jane Krakowski (30 Rock), and John Benjamin Hickey (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) will all be making cameo appearances in the same episode.

The trio are scheduled to shoot the episode entitled ‘Under Pressure’ with filming set to kick off on Nov. 4. Eisenberg will take on the role of Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam’s (Eric Stonestreet) over the top neighbor, who is described as “eco-obsessed.” Krakowski will play Dr. Donna, a mother of a student from Manny’s (Rico Rodriguez) school who finds herself on the wrong side of Gloria (Sofia Vergara). As for Hickey, ‘The Big C’ star will take on the role of a therapist, who will try to help one of the Dunphys. Sounds like a jam packed episode of drama, laughs and excitement.

The trio join past guest stars that include ‘This Is 40’s Leslie Mann, Greg Kinnear of ‘The Last Song’, ‘The Hunger Games’ Elizabeth Banks, Minnie Driver of ‘Good Will Hunting’, Shelley Long of ‘Cheers’ fame and Wendi McLendon-Covey from ‘Bridesmaids’.
