The Carrie Diaries Season 2 Episode 2 “Express Yourself” airs on Friday November 1, 2013 at 8 pm ET on The CW.

Episode Synopsis: “Express Yourself” – INTERESTING LIFE LESSONS —INDIE ROCK BAND “AMERICAN AUTHORS” PERFORM —Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) and Walt (Brendan Dooling) are faced with kicking out their new roommate when she makes herself too comfortable. Walt summons the courage to tell Bennet (guest star Jake Robinson) how he feels about him at his eighteenth birthday bash – at a VIP Z100 concert – but things go horribly awry before Bennet can respond. Samantha (Lindsey Gort) and Mouse (Ellen Wong) meet, and Samantha wastes no time giving Mouse sex tips. Back in Castlebury, Sebastian (Austin Butler) and Maggie (Katie Findlay) run into each other; and the evening doesn’t go exactly as planned when Tom (Matt Letscher) invites girlfriend Deb (guest star Nadia Dajani) to spend the weekend with him. Chloe Bridges also stars. Amy Heckerling directed the episode written by Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin.

Show Summary: It’s the summer of 1985, and, for the first time, 17-year-old Carrie Bradshaw (AnnaSophia Robb) can call Manhattan home. After her boyfriend Sebastian (Austin Butler) and best friend Maggie (Katie Findlay) betrayed her, Carrie is happy to accept the offer to spend the summer living in the downtown loft apartment of her Interview magazine boss Larissa (Freema Agyeman). But as summer turns to fall and Carrie heads into her senior year, she and her friends and family discover that letting go of old loves and embracing new dreams comes with some tough new realities but also incredible new opportunities. Based on the novels “The Carrie Diaries” and “Summer and the City” by Candace Bushnell, THE CARRIE DIARIES is from Fake Empire in association with Warner Bros.
