‘Key & Peele’ Season 4, ‘Brickleberry Season 3 and ‘Drunk History’ Season 2 Announced by Comedy Central

Comedy Central announced a trio of renewals today. Hit sketch comedy Key & Peele has been renewed for season four, animated comedy Brickleberry will be back for a third season and Drunk History has been given the greenlight for a second season of history as told by drunk people.

“We are covering several genres with these pickups: one sketch; one animation; and whatever ‘Drunk History’ is,” said Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, Comedy Central in a statement.

Key & Peele has proven to be a hit for Comedy Central. The comedy is number one in cable in its timeslot with Men 18-34 and has a huge following online where sketches have been streamed by over 400 million times across multiple platforms. Meanwhile, Brickleberry is currently the number one show in all of television in its Tuesdays at 10:30PM timeslot with Men 18-24. Finally, the first season of Drunk History attracted high profile guest stars like Jack Black, Connie Britton, Michael Cera, Terry Crews, Stephen Merchant, Bob Odenkirk, Aubrey Plaza, Jason Ritter, Winona Ryder, Kristen Wiig, Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson.

All three series will return for new seasons in 2014.
