‘We Are Men’ Cancelled by CBS; ‘Mike & Molly’ Season 4 Premiere Date Announced

Maybe those out of luck lottery winners from ABC’s Lucky 7 will be up to buying the downtrodden divorcees of CBS’s We Are Men a drink now that the ill-fated comedy will be joining the series in cancellation purgatory. CBS has announced that effective immediately, We Are Men is no longer on the schedule– in other words it has been axed despite featuring a recognizable cast that included multiple Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub.

The series aired just two episodes before the network pulled the plug. Beginning this Monday, We Are Men‘s 8:30 timeslot will be taken over by 2 Broke Girls, while The Big Bang Theory reruns will air at 9PM for the next two weeks.

On the upside for Mike & Molly fans, the comedy’s fourth season now has an official premiere date: Monday, November 4th at 9PM. The Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell led comedy was being held for midseason, but thanks to We Are Men‘s untimely demise the series will return to the airwaves sooner than expected.

So, once again, We Are Men is cancelled, 2 Broke Girls is moving to 8:30 on Mondays, while Mike & Molly will takeover the 9PM time-slot on CBS for their fourth season beginning November 4th.
