Episode Synopsis: Low Winter Sun Episode 9 “Ann Arbor”- Frank grapples with his sanity as the realities of his actions start to take their toll. Meanwhile, the DPD catches a major break in the McCann case.

Low Winter Sun Episode 10 “Surrender”- While the DPD gets close to solving McCann’s murder, Frank is forced to make a critical decision. Damon makes his boldest move yet.

Show Summary: This gritty, edgy and provocative crime drama begins with an act of retribution – the murder of a dirty cop by a fellow Detroit detective, Frank Agnew (Strong). Seemingly the perfect crime, in reality the murder sets in motion forces that will forever alter the detective’s life and pull him into the heart of the Detroit underworld.

Filmed on location in Detroit, “Low Winter Sun” also stars Lennie James (Lockout, “The Walking Dead”) as Joe Geddes; a Detroit detective and Agnew’s partner in crime; Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Their Eyes Were Watching God, “Castle”) as Charles Dawson, the precinct’s Lieutenant; Athena Karkanis as Dani Khalil, a precinct detective; James Ransone (Sinister) as Damon Callis, the blue collar criminal at the center of Detroit’s underworld; Sprague Greydon (“Sons of Anarchy”) as Maya Callis; Damon’s hard-nosed and cold-blooded wife; Billy Lush (“Generation Kill”) as Nick Paflas, a damaged veteran who is gradually folded into Detroit’s criminal crew; and David Costabile (Lincoln, Side Effects) as Simon Boyd, an Internal Affairs investigator.
