‘Wilfred’ Renewed for a Fourth and Final Season by FX (And Moved to FXX) October 3, 2013 News, Wilfred Ryan will finally (hopefully) find enlightenment when Wilfred signs off with season four. TV Line reports that FX has renewed the existential comedy for a fourth and final season set to air in 2014. However, Wilfred won’t be residing in his usual doghouse, the canine and his companion Ryan are being relocated to FXX to live out their final days as man and man’s best friend who is a man in a dog costume. Season four will consist of 10 episodes. Do you think that is enough to wrap up the complex story? Once again, the final season of Wilfred will air in 2014 on FXX.
