Amber Tamblyn Bumped To Series Regular In ‘Two and a Half Men’

I Think I Banged Lucille Ball

Former ‘House’ actress Amber Tamblyn has been promoted to a series regular on CBS’ Two and a Half Men. Tamblyn joined the comedy in its current eleventh season run in a guest role as Jenny. Her character is the illegitimate daughter of the late Charlie Harper who unexpectedly shows up one day out of the blue.

Since making her debut in the series, Tamblyn has created quite a splash among viewers, prompting showrunners to bring the actress on board as a series regular. Her character currently calls Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) beach house home where she now lives with her Uncle Alan (Jon Cryer). Tamblyn’s Jenny is the spitting image of her father which has allowed the showrunners to extract some of the previous chemistry from the Alan and Charlie which made ‘Two and a Half Men’ a success.

Tamblyn is best known for her previous role as the title character of ‘Joan of Arcadia’. She has also appeared in ‘The Unusuals’, ‘General Hospital’, ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’, ‘127 Hours’ and ‘Stephanie Daley’. The actress is also penning her third book that will explore the lives of child star actresses.

‘Two and a Half Men’ Thursdays, 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
