HBO Releases ‘Getting On’ Teaser October 1, 2013 HBO, News HBO’s next comedy, Getting On, appears to be decidedly unglamorous. There are no twentysomethings having quarter-life crises or White House shenanigans, instead the entire series is based on the lives of careworkers who devote their days to women who reside in the geriatric wing of a hospital. It may sound grim, but the goofy teaser reassures us it is okay to laugh with the workers therein as they take pleasure in having their boots be seen as stripper-worthy and discuss the correct usage of the word “feces.” Getting On stars Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein and Niecy Nash, and is based on a British series of the same name. The series is set to premiere Sunday, November 24th at 10PM on HBO.
