Jodie Foster To Direct ‘House Of Cards’ Episode September 4, 2013 House of Cards, News Jodie Foster has been tapped to direct an episode of Netflix’s break out series House of Cards. As confirmed by Vulture, the ‘Elysium’ star is said to be already in Baltimore where the series is currently filming its second season. Netflix has yet to comment on Foster taking over the wheel for an installment of the show that stars Kevin Spacey as a congressman who exacts revenge on those around him. Robin Wright (Moneyball) stars as Spacey’s wife alongside a cast ensemble that includes actors Michael Kelly (The Adjustment Bureau), Kate Mara (Shooter) and Kristen Connolly (The cabin in the Woods). The actress recently directed an episode of Jenji Kohan’s (Weeds) new Netflix series ‘Orange Is the New Black’ with Taylor Schilling (The Lucky One) and Laura Prepon (That 70’s Show). The installment entitled ‘Lesbian Request Denied’ is the third episode of the freshman season. Foster’s previous directorial credits include the 2011 feature ‘The Beaver’ with Mel Gibson (The Patriot), the 80’s series ‘Tales from the Darkside’, ‘Little Man Tate’ and ‘Home for the Holidays’.
