‘Kickin’ It’ Season 4 Announced by Disney XD

Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President of Original Content for Disney Channels Worldwide recently announced that Disney XD has renewed its popular live action comedy series Kickin’ It for its fourth season.

That means that the Wasabi Warriors will be back in the dojo, including series lead and series co-producer (and former ‘Hannah Montana’ alum) Jason Earles, black-belt martial artist Leo Howard, Mateo Arias and Dylan Riley. Actress Olivia Holt, who has been with the show the past three seasons, however, will leave ‘Kickin’ It’ to star in the Disney Channel comedy series ‘I Didn’t Do It’ that is set to premiere in early 2014.

‘Kickin’ It’ is one of Disney XD’s highest rated shows and has been such since its debut in June of 2011. The series was created and is executive produced by Jim O’Doherty (‘Grounded for Life’ and ‘Third Rock from the Sun’).

Bonnett had this to share about the show, “‘Kickin’ It’ continues to pack a punch with relatable storytelling, aspirational characters and non-stop action. Viewers have watched the Wasabi Warriors grow from inexperienced misfits into inspiring martial artists and we look forward to continuing their journey in the fourth season”.

The current, third season of ‘Kickin’ It’ airs on Monday nights on Disney XD with production of the fourth season set to start in November with its premiere set for 2014.
