‘Resurrection’ Series Premiere Date Announced by ABC August 6, 2013 News, Resurrection ABC has announced the premiere date for their midseason genre series Resurrection. The series is set to debut Sunday, March 9th at 10:00 p.m., ET as part of ABC’s split season strategy designed to minimize repeats. Resurrection will sub in for the Fall series Betrayal when its season concludes. Resurrection is set in the town of Arcadia, Missouri where the citizen’s deceased loved ones suddenly begin returning from the dead. The series stars Omar Epps (House), Matt Craven (A Few Good Men), Devin Kelley (The Chicago Code), Frances Fisher (Titanic), Kurtwood Smith (That ’70s Show) as Harold, Sam Hazeldine (The Raven) as Abel, Samaire Armstrong (Entourage), Nicholas Gonzalez (Off the Map) as Connor, Mark Hildreth (Dragon Ball Z) and newcomer Landon Gimenez. In addition to Resurrection, ABC will also debut the alternative series The Quest on Thursday, January 2nd with a special two-hour premiere from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ET. The Quest will take over the timeslot left behind after Once Upon a Time: Wonderland‘s finale.
