Laura Bell Bundy Replaces Selma Blair In ‘Anger Management’


Laura Bell Bundy of ‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’ has boarded the FX series Anger Management with Charlie Sheen. Bundy has been tapped as a new series regular, replacing actress Selma Blair, it was announced made by Lionsgate Television on Monday. Blair made her exit shortly after bumping heads with Sheen behind the scenes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bundy will play the role of Sheen’s new sex-study research partner, Dr. Jordan Denby. Her character is a smart and beautiful psychologist who has just divorced her husband. Denby’s love of alcohol coupled with her mood swings will take a toll on Charlie. Bundy joins Brian Austin Green (90210), who will be reprising his role as Sean. This time around Green has been tapped as a series regular. His character is the boyfriend of Jen, Charlie’s on screen ex-wife.

Bell’s acting credits include roles on ‘Veronica Mars’, ‘How I Met Your Mother’, the CW series ‘Hart of Dixie’, ‘To Appomattox’ the mini-series, the 2013 feature ‘Watercolor Postcards’ and ‘Dirt Bags’. In addition, Bell has made appearances in the big screen features ‘Dream Girls’, ‘Surf School’ and ‘The Drum Beats Twice’. The actress is also slated to release her first country track on August 19 through Big Machine Records in Nashville.
