Showtime Becomes First Premium Channel to Offer Live Streaming July 31, 2013 News, Showtime Showtime subscribers will now be able to watch Showtime live anywhere. During their TCA presentation, the network announced the news that viewers will now be able to click on the “Live TV” button on Showtime Anytime to watch live streaming of both the East and West code feeds. Showtime is the first premium channel to offer this service to subscribers, although cable channels TBS and TNT announced a similar service earlier this year. Subscribers will now have access to Showtime’s hit series, sports programming, movies and documentaries in real time via their computer, iPhone(R), iPad(R), Kindle Fire(TM) and Android(TM) phone and tablets at home or on the go, anywhere in the U.S. Additionally, viewers can switch between the two feeds, and Showtime Anytime will still feature past and current seasons of the network’s shows. To access Showtime Anytime subscribers simply have to sign into the official site. Showtime Anytime is available now nationwide to AT&T U-verse, Cablevision’s Optimum TV, COMCAST XFINITY, DIRECTV and Verizon FiOS customers. What do you think of Showtime’s new live streaming option?
