John Travolta will appear opposite his ‘Look Who’s Talking’ co-star Kirstie Alley on TV Land this fall. Travolta has booked a guest role on the actress’s upcoming sitcom entitled Kirstie. The series will chronicle Alley as a Broadway star by the name of Madison Banks whose biological son Arlo (Eric Petersen) unexpectedly appears one day, changing her life dramatically. Arlo reaches out to Banks with the hopes of establishing a relationship following the death of his adoptive parents.

Travolta recently shared his excitement over booking a role in the freshman show with his longtime friend. “I’m excited about working with Kirstie again, in addition to such terrific talent on the show. It’s always a treat to be surrounded by people you respect so much both personally and professionally.”

Alley’s formers ‘Cheers’ co-star Rhea Perlman has also been cast in the series. Perlman will portray Maddie’s assistant and best friend alongside actor Michael Richards (Seinfeld), Maddie’s unusual driver. ‘Kirstie’ comes from writer and executive producer Marco Pennette, who will serve with executive producers Kirstie Alley, Jason Weinberg and TV Land’s Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox.

Travolta has recently been seen in ‘Savages’, ‘Killing Season’, ‘The Forger’ and ‘Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father’.
