‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook’ Premiere Date Announced by Ovation

American fans who have been waiting for their chance to see A Young Doctor’s Notebook starring Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Daniel Radcliffe (The Harry Potter Franchise) won’t have to wait much longer. Ovation announced today that the Sky Arts’ series will premiere Thursday, October 3rd at 8 pm ET.

“I’m thrilled that Ovation has picked up the rights to broadcast A Young Doctor’s Notebook stateside,” said Jon Hamm in a statement. “Like our UK benefactor Sky Arts, they have proven to be a singular champion of unique, artistic projects that often remain unseen in the current commercial broadcast landscape. I hope everyone enjoys A Young Doctor’s Notebook as much as we enjoyed making it.”

The series stars Radcliffe as a young doctor just starting out in his career, while Hamm plays the character’s older, opiate-addicted version who wryly narrates his younger counterpart’s adventures.The young doctor lands a position at a tiny hospital in Russia just at the start of the Russian Revolution. Dealing with his patients and their unfamiliar ways, leaves the young doctor panic stricken and doubting his competency.

Once again, A Young Doctor’s Notebook premieres on Thursday, October 3rd at 8pm ET on Ovation.
