Comic-Con 2013: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Premiere Date Announced and Full-Length Trailer Released

The Walking Dead season four will make its highly-anticipated debut on Sunday, October 13th at 9PM ET/PT on AMC. The news was revealed during the series’ Comic-Con Panel today. As usual, the season will be broken into two parts with the first eight episodes set to coincide with AMC’s annual October Fearfest, and the second eight episodes premiering in February 2014. Also returning after the premiere is Chris Hardwick’s Talking Dead at 10pm ET/PT.

Season four will find Rick and his gang in their most precarious situation yet as they attempt to form a community within the prison walls with the newcomers from Woodbury. The season will introduce a number of new characters, including former Army medic Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.). But hearing about what’s ahead isn’t nearly as much fun as seeing a sneak peek for yourself, so check out the zombie-packed, four-minute Comic-Con season four trailer below!
