Comedy Central has announced their plans to air Bill Cosby’s concert special Far From Finished. The special is slated to bow on November 12, 2013 on the network, marking Cosby’s first television concert in 30 years. The show will be directed by Robert Townsend with the presentation set to feature footage from Cosby’s recent June show that was held at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center.

The comedic actor’s last special, entitled ‘Bill Cosby, Himself’, took place back in 1983. Cosby directed the concert which would later inspire the family sitcom ‘The Cosby Show’. Speaking out about why he has decided to return to the land of televisions now, Cosby said “Because … funny is funny.” Sharing details behind the method to his stand-up. “I have found that there are some things that one can hear in a joke when a punchline has profanity in it, but there are times when the story and coming to the punchline happens to be so great that you don’t have to have that profanity there; you just use another word to say the same thing,” Cosby said.

‘Far From Finished’ will be executive produced by Darryl M. Bell, Judi Marmel, Robert Hartmann and Stu Schreiberg. Will you be tuning into to Comedy Central to see the return of Bill Cosby? Leave us your comments below.
