Fan Favorites Greg Grunberg and Diane Farr to Star in USA Network Comedy Pilot July 15, 2013 News, USA The USA Network is wading back into the comedy pool after 15 years with the planned original half-hour pilot called Divide & Conquer that will star fan favorites Greg Grunberg of ‘Alias’ and ‘Felicity’ fame and actress Diane Farr of ‘Roswell’ and ‘Numb3rs’ fame. ‘Divide & Conquer’ is the “only true family comedy” coming from the network (the cabler has several other comedy projects in the works included ‘Sirens’, ‘Playing House’ and ‘Love Is Dead’) that will “get into the heads of a big family: four children finding their way to adulthood in these complicated times and the parents whose lives they’re sucking them dry to get there”. The parents will be played by Grunberg, who will star as Evan, a “daydreamer-turned-parent attorney who believes modern-day families are over-parenting their kids” and Farr, who will star as Charlotte, a “career woman-turned-stay-at-home mom who is trying to help her kids navigate growing up”. The new comedy will be executive produced by writer Peter Ocko who has worked on ‘Pushing Daisies’, ‘Dead Like Me’, ‘The Office’ and ‘Fairly Legal’. But USA Network viewers should be forewarned that the network has not given ‘Divide & Conquer’ an official greenlight to series yet.
