Betty White’s ‘Off Their Rockers’ Cancelled by NBC

Off Their Rockers

The NBC network has cancelled Betty White’s comedy show Off Their Rockers. According to Deadline, the network made the decision not to renew the series for a third season following poor ratings. Initially the reality show kicked off strong, drawing 12 million viewers in its April 2012 debut with a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demo, but viewership has dropped. In its second season, the show averaged roughly 5.3 million viewers with a 1.5 rating with the season finale declining to just 33%.

“We’re really proud of the show and the fact that the audience has responded as favorably as they have, and the interest we have already received from other networks is a testament to the show. We are thankful we had this experience at NBC,” Chris Coelen, the CEO of Rockers production house Kenetic Content, shared.

Betty White’s ‘Off Their Rockers’ followed the former Golden Girl punk younger generations with the help of her peers. NBC has however, picked up eight episodes of Endemol USA produced original game show ‘Wall Of Fame’. The show features families of four as they compete in a trivia format where they must identify which celebrity on a “wall of fame” also got the right answer. To winner will be awarded cash prizes.
