‘The Michael J. Fox Show’ Nabs Anne Heche for Multi-Episode Arc July 12, 2013 News, The Michael J. Fox Show NBC’s Save Me didn’t quite work out for Anne Heche, but the network has found the actress a new home on their high profile comedy The Michael J. Fox Show, according to EW. The actress has been tapped for a multi-episode arc to play Susan Rodriguez-Jones, the anchor at the news station where Fox’s Mike will return to work five years after he left to battle Parkinson’s. EW says Susan is described as “sharp, savvy and tough-as-nails,” and will have a rivalry with Mike that goes back to the days when she was his producer. In addition to the doomed Save Me, Heche has also starred in Men in Trees and Hung. The Michael J. Fox Show premieres Thursday, September 26th at 9PM ET/PT on NBC.
