Summer Glau Books Villainous ‘Arrow’ Season 2 Role

Geek favorite Summer Glau has found her next genre show.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Glau will be joining Arrow season two in the recurring role of Isabel Rochev. Isabel is the “beautiful” and “dangerous” Vice President of Stellmoor International, a company looking to takeover Queen Consolidated, who will make her debut in the premiere. If Isabel adheres closely to her DC Comics persona, expect for her to prove to be quite an adversary for Oliver (Stephen Amell). In the comics, Isabel comes from a background of slavery and rises in power until she is known as “The Queen,” whose primary mission in life is to see Oliver killed. So far on the series, Isabel’s name has only appeared in Robert Queen’s book of powerful people who could cause damage to Starling City.

Glau is best known for her work in the Whedonverse where she appeared in Firefly, Angel and Dollhouse. Her other credits include The Sarah Conner Chronicles, The Cape, Alphas and The Big Bang Theory.

Are you excited to see Glau heading to Starling City?

Arrow season two is set to premiere Wednesday, October 9th at 8/9c on The CW.
