‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Alum Jason George to Recur on Lifetime’s ‘Witches of East End’

Actor Jason George, who has been appearing on the ABC summer series ‘Mistresses’, has landed a new role in the upcoming Lifetime series Witches of East End.

Thanks to the folks over at TV Line, George will appear in the series in the recurring role of Adam, the love interest of Ingrid (actress Rachel Boston from ‘American Dreams’ and ‘In Plain Sight’), the daughter of Joanna Beauchamp (actress Julia Ormond from ‘Sabrina’ and ‘Legends of the Fall’) and sister to Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum from ‘American Horror Story’). In the 10-episode series, Ingrid and Freya learn they are witches.

The series is based on the novel by author Melissa de la Cruz and will also star Mädchen Amick (‘Damages’ and ‘Twin Peaks’) and Eric Winter (‘Moonlight’ and ‘The Mentalist’) as Freya’s fiancé.

TV viewers will recognize George from his time on the soap ‘Sunset Beach’ and ‘Eve’ as well as appearances on ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Eli Stone’ as well as the box office movies ‘Clockstoppers’ and ‘Playing for Keeps’. Ironic or not, George also appeared in the similarly-themed but short-lived TV series ‘Eastwick’ that was executive produced by Maggie Friedman, who is the executive producer behind ‘Witches of East End’.

An official airdate for ‘Witches of East End’ has yet to be announced by Lifetime.
